One of the worst things a doctor can do is to diagnose someone with a condition and that person doesn't even have it. This is the case many times. With this disturbing news, doctors have implemented many tests BEFORE they diagnose anything. Internet addiction is no different. There are various tests you can take to see if you're addicted to the internet. The ones found on the internet aren't as accurate as if a doctor was screening the test, but the give you a little insight.
